Netherlands 10.07.26-10.09.26: Replacing Memories

My divorce to my cheating ex-husband was finalized in December 2025. I knew I had to revisit Netherlands and Scotland to replace memories. I know the travelogues for those countries were all swell and dandy, but I left out a lot of the bad stuff my ex said and did that made the trips actually not enjoyable. So, I wanted to go again to make better memories. I didn’t go to all the cities/towns, though. I anchored down in Utrecht and planned to pop into Amsterdam for half a day.

I arrived at 7a on 2 hours of sleep. My room wasn’t ready yet (total wishful thinking).
